Mikulášsky jarmok 2011
Druhá adventná nedeľa 4.12.2011, čas prípravy na príchod Mikuláša a narodenie malého Ježiška. Na Omšenskom námestí sa začína niečo diať už v dopoludňajších hodinách. Dobrovoľní hasiči a iní chlapi z obce stavajú dva rady stánkov. Ich šikovnosť je viditeľná a stánky sú pripravené na príchod predávajúcich. Každá organizácia, ktorá funguje v obci má možnosť a pristor v jednotlivých stánkoch spropagovať svoju činnosť a ponúknuť na predaj svoje výrobky. Naše OZ zabralo stánky dva. Máme moc šikovné dobrovoľníčky a ešte šikovnejšie deti. Snaha nás všetkých ukázať svoju kreativitu nevyšla nazmar. Perníčky, vianočné pečivo, pralinky, čaj, svietniky, ozdoby, dekorácie a domáci medík. Toto všetko mohli záujemcovia vidieť a zakúpiť za super ceny v našich stánkoch. Super atmosféru dotvárala živá hudba a nedočkavé detičky čakajúce na príchod Mikuláša. Ten ich nechával v napätí, ale nakoniec predsa dorazil na koči ťahanom krásnymi koníkmi v sprievode s dvoma čertiskami a jednou krásnou, anjelskou pomocníčkou. Každé poslušné deťa si odnášalo balíček sladkostí. Tých menej poslušných ponaháňali čerti. Blížiace sa Vianoce nám pripomínal obrovský, adventný veniec na ktorom svietila už druhá sviečka. Celú akciu nám trochu pokazil dážď, ktorý nechcel utíchnuť. Ale môžeme byť radi, že zahnal aj čertov. Ale oni sa vrátia už o necelý rok. Tak všetci poslúchajme ...
